Most women in product have been given the wrong map.

We are taught that career growth is a performance game: work hard, deliver exceptional results, communicate clearly, and be confident.

But if performance alone determined advancement, many of us would be further along than we are.

Real career growth often happens in places we have not been taught to look. Strivers can rise once they stop confusing effort with actual advancement and learn how to read the workplace system.

Knowing the system is the bridge between striving and rising.

When we do not understand how the system works, we often mistake a literacy gap for a confidence gap. Your stuckness may not be a confidence problem; it may be a systems-literacy problem.

Join Kalpashree Gupta, a former Product Leader at Zelle and American Express, who helps women in product navigate the career game that was never fully explained to them and is now changing faster than ever.

In this session, Kalpashree will share the “C” in her A.P.C. framework: Constraints. This part of the framework focuses on developing the ability to see, hedge, and convert constraints instead of becoming trapped by them.

One of the most important forms of systems literacy is understanding constraints—not simply as barriers, but as forces you can learn to read, navigate, and leverage.

Kalpashree will share how she navigated restructures, immigration challenges, leadership changes, layoffs, infertility and parenting, ageing parents, and role redefinition while continuing to grow her impact and career.
